Crazy hair/sock day is a favorite at our house. The kids look forward to it and they put a lot of thought into what they want to do. This is what came about this year...
Farrah: "Caden. Am I your buddy?" Caden: "No Mom, you're my honey!"
Farrah: "Caden it's time to go down for a nap." Caden: "I can't Mom, I watching TV. I watching the Office Mom."
Clint: "Can I have some more spaghetti sauce Babe?" Caden: "I need some more Babe." (in reference to Dad.)
Lexi: "Can I have air conditioner in my hair? I want my hair to be really soft!"
Lexi: "Mom, can I have the peppermint (permanent) marker?"
Caden: "Nana"(banana), "Pease" (Please), "Poddy" (Potty), "Papa" (Grandpa), "Nigh, Nigh" (Night, Night), "I know" while shaking his head no (I don't know), "I un change" (I want to change)
Lexi: "She is so pretty because she has bracelets (meaning braces) on her teeth!"
Farrah: "Is it fast Sunday, since we had conference last week?" Lexi: "Is it fast Sunday or slow Sunday?"
Lexi: (singing Take me out to the ball game), "Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks; I don't care if I ever get fat!"
Lexi: "Mom, I'm listening and obeying." (when clearly she is not.)
Ren (from the musical Footloose): singing a song, "I'm free!" Lexi: "Mom, that's silly. He said he's free (meaning three). He's not free."
Lexi: "Is Caden poopy? I can smell him from a mile away!"
Lexi: "Caden Ridge Albright..."
Lexi: (talking to Dad & Mom) "Bring me back a seashell from the beach you kids."
