Big Changes in store...

We have had some big changes recently to our family. First off... Clint and I will soon be outnumbered on parent to child ratio. Yes, I am pregnant! We are happy to announce that we are expecting baby number 3 whom will join our home next March. Lexi and Caden are very excited! Lexi, of course, wants a baby sister and Caden just wants a baby. I am already being bombarded with questions from them. This may be a very long pregnancy!

The second big change with the Albright household is that we have bought a new home that will be completed (hopefully) by the end of the year. This means we will be moving to another city, Gilbert, which luckily is only 15 minutes away from the wonderful friends we have made over the past 6 years. It will be fun to see the way our lives will change over the next few months. We're very excited about the new changes in store!
we just signed the papers!

Kindergarten...already?!!!

Lexi started kindergarten Monday. It's hard to believe that I have a child old enough to go to school all day. She was so excited and really likes her teacher Ms. Warren. After we dropped Lexi off in the morning and got back in the car, Caden said, "this is boring." I said, "what's boring?" He says, "without Lexi here; that's boring." It was very cute.
I think Caden and I had a harder time letting her be at school the full day than Lexi did. About half way through the day, I'd keep looking at the clock wondering if it was time to pick her up yet. When we picked her up, she told us all about her fun day and had no complaints. Lets hope that the enthusiasm she has now for school continues at least for a few years!

Waving goodbye! (It was too bright for her to look up.)

Aspen Grove 2009

We just got back from Utah where the Albright's have a family reunion every other year. Thanks to Grandpa Chuck for making it possible for all of us to go and have such a fun week together! It's truly a vacation because the kids go in groups each day and the adults get to indulge in whatever fun activities they want. We absolutely love it and always look forward to it! Lexi and Caden were in heaven with the cooler weather and would run around outside until 9 every night. What a treat for us Arizonans to be able to wear a jacket in July!
While in Utah, we also spent some time visiting my grandparents who live in Orem and Salt Lake and we spent some time hanging out with our friend's the Reeves who were also visiting from Florida. Everyday was tons of fun and we can't wait for two more years to go by so we can go again!
