Independence Day

For the 4th we began the day with Clint reading us the Declaration of Independence (a tradition around our house that I used to roll my eyes about, but now I actually enjoy!) Later we went to my parents house for swimming and dinner. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa found some "pop it's" for the kids and then decided to venture out a little and light some fireworks they had. This was especially fun for me because as a kid I always remember having our own fireworks show in our front yard (we lived in Utah at the time). Once we realized the next door neighbors were lighting them also, we got out the 4 to 6 ft fireworks and lit them up. Afterwords we went to Tumbleweed Park for the City of Chandler's fireworks spectacular. It was a great show!

Grandpa and Uncle Jordan- pyromaniacs!

Sounds like a great night it's just so nice to see a little boy that doesn't do things like chew apart those glow necklaces and get it all over their mouths and in mommy's hair....hummm do we know who i am talking about??!!
