The kids just finished up their swim lessons for this year. Lexi is doing very well and has become quite brave in the water. She has learned a lot and is comfortable jumping in and swimming a short distance by herself. She's taken 3 sessions for a total of six weeks this summer and still wants to do more. Lexi is our social butterfly. She loves to make new friends in each of her classes! Caden also did one session of parent/tot. We had lots of fun! If you've seen Caden around water then you know how much he loved his lessons. He is really a natural. The other parents in the class kept asking me how I got him to be so comfortable with the water. All I could say was that he's loved water since day 1. He already goes through the motions of hands and kicks and holds his breath to dive down and retrieve a dive stick. It really even surprises me. It was nice for Dad and Mom to get wet too...a much better way to endure the 110 degree heat!

So CUTE! I love Lexi's swimsuit. It's so bright! Swim lessons is one thing I really miss about living in AZ. They were so inexpensive and so easy there. Someday soon we'll get back into it...
How fun for them, if they are anything like my kids they looovvvve swim lessons. It is always a fight to tell them swim lessons is over. Glad they learned alot.
