Beijing & Shanghai China

Clint spent the past 12 days in China. He spent 4 days in Beijing where he got to see the Great Wall of China. He said it was awesome. The 1st picture is the wall with a Chinese flag. The 2nd picture is hard to see, but it has a big sign that reads, "One world, One Dream." This is in preparation for the 2008 Olympics which will be held in Beijing. Clint is with some of his ASU buddies in the 3rd picture. Along with touring the city he had the opportunity to visit a lot of companies, eat a lot of Chinese food, and "hang out" at a lot of bars (Just ask him about that one).

These photos were taken in Shanghai. They show some of the architecture, which Clint said was all so neat. He said the buildings are all sky rise and the city goes on forever. A lot like New York, but 10 times bigger. He brought home a few souvenirs which are fun to see. If you want the whole gist of the trip you'll have to ask him. These are just a few of the many pic's taken.

Big Surf

On Saturday we went to Big Surf for Honeywell's annual party. It was a lot of fun. Both Lexi and Caden love the water and had a great time until Lexi slipped and biffed it. She was bleeding all over and had both Clint and I worried. She had a bloody nose a huge gash in her lip and one of her front teeth was slightly pushed back and swollen all around it. Needless to say, we left shortly after that. Lexi was very brave though. She is doing much better now!

Congratulations Clint!!!

He did it! Clint walked on Saturday to receive his Masters in Business from ASU. I have to admit that I felt like a pretty proud wife as he walked up there to get his diploma. It hasn't been easy over the past two years, but I think it will be well worth it. He's worked so hard and is so glad to be done. Both Lexi and Caden are so proud of their daddy!

Laundry Day

As you can see, today I was in need of doing laundry. I set Caden in the basket while I got a few things together. As I came back in the room, Lexi was pushing Caden towards the laundry room. They both loved it. Caden the ride and Lexi being the one behind the fun. The fun each new day brings with two kids!

Barbie Bike

Lexi loves to ride her bike! Whenever we go for a walk she has to take her bike. She does really well riding it. She holds on to the handle bars so tightly that she only lasts half way around the block and she says that she's tired and wants to ride in the wagon with Caden. She doesn't quite understand the concept of resting your hands on the handles and just using them to steer.

About our Family

Well, here it is: Our Blog. I have had lots of fun creating it. Our family is doing great. Life seems to be busy as ever, but also better than ever! Clint is finishing his MBA at ASU and will graduate on May 12th. Yipeeee!!! He is such a good husband. He goes to work all day and school in the evenings. I never hear him complain! Lexi is 3 and a handful. She's seems to have mastered throwing a temper tantrum. She is very independent. I went and got her shoes out for her to put on. As I handed them to her, she said, "No." She walked right over to the basket and put the shoes back in. She then proceeded to get the shoes out HERSELF and said, "I can do it!" That is her response to everything and anything. Even though she has her feisty moments, she is usually a sweetheart. She loves to help her brother out. Saying, "Caden, I can do that for you." We love our princess. Caden is 9 months going on 2 yrs. I say that because he weighs a whopping 22 lbs. He started to crawl and pull himself up recently. He is our peacemaker. Since day 1 he has been the best baby! He is a daddy's boy! If Daddy is around he wants him. We love C-dawg! As for me, I love being at home with my kids. I couldn't have asked for a better job!

Princess Party

Lexi went to a princess birthday party for her friend Brylee. They had so much fun dressing up like their favorite princess. Lexi was a little "too good" at kissing the frog prince. I'm a little worried!
