Lexi has recently taken a great interest in learning (and I mean every word) of the primary songs. She loves "I love to see the Temple" and her new favorite, "When Jesus Christ was baptized." As a councelor in the primary I get the joy of seeing her each week, trying so hard to learn these songs. I can't wait to see her in the primary program for the first time this year. It's hard to believe she's old enough! (Make sure you pause my playlist at the bottom.) Oh and Caden thought he'd help out in the background.

Clint came home from work and asked if I had heard the new song by Kenny Chesney called, "Everybody wants to go to Heaven". I heard it today for the first time and I have to say that Kenny pretty much explains the view of most of the world. Here is the chorus from the song:

Lexi started gymnastics today and loved it! She took dance last year and wanted to try gymnastics this year. I asked her what her favorite part was and she said, "getting my ribbon at the end because it's so pretty." Well, I guess if that's incentive for her to do well, then they'll be giving a lot of ribbons! Clint and I had fun watching. Clint has secretly always wanted her to do gymnastics because he thinks Lexi's Grandma Jensen can help her out with all of her training. I think Grandma is looking forward to being a cheerleader more than a coach though. We'll see. For now, it's all about having fun!

Fashion statement?!

Caden just loves to dress himself lately. In fact, from the moment he wakes up he says, "I change" and proceeds to choose out his own clothes. This is what he came up with today. His swimsuit with socks and shoes. It's usually this or pants (in 110 degree weather!; don't worry I make him put on shorts if we're going anywhere!) and it's always paired with shoes and socks, which he's learned quite well how to put them on himself. Funny kid! He's always there to put a smile on my face!

Shark Steam Mop

Okay, so I know it sounds lame, but yes I've watched this infomercial many many times. I've been bugging Clint for months that I wanted to get the Shark steam mop. It sanitizes and cleans with just water. I love the idea of getting my floors super clean (I know it sounds crazy). For those of you who know me well, know that I'm kind of OCD when it comes to cleaning. I appreciate and love a clean house! So when I was at Costco last week and saw that they had the Shark, I bought it. I used it for the first time today and thought it was great! For those of you wondering, it says it's perfectly safe for hardwood floors. So for anyone out there who is wondering if this mop is as good as the infomercial makes it out to be, I would recommend it!
