Archer is already 2 months! Where has the time gone?

Here are his stats:

He loves to smile and talk to us! He is such a joy to have around!

These two are already buddies. Caden loves to hold Archer! Awwwwe...if only this brotherly love would last their whole lives.

Mommy Makeover

For Mother's Day I had the treat of going to Lexi's school for a mommy makeover. Lexi pampered me by putting make-up and lotion on me, combing my hair and putting clips in it, and giving me a massage. After the pampering, the kids sang some really cute mother's day songs. It was so much fun! A memory I'll cherish!

Singing for us!

This is Lexi with her teacher Ms. Warren.

(I can't rotate the video! Sorry!)

Baby Blessing

We blessed Archer on May 2nd. It was a great day and a wonderful blessing. He looked so handsome! We feel fortunate to have so many family members who were able to attend. Archer was blessed by his Daddy and we had a yummy lunch at our house afterwards. I forgot to take pictures until the late afternoon. Needless to say, we didn't get very many.

Father and Sons

Caden was talking about going camping with Dad for weeks before Father and Sons. They went a couple of weeks ago on April 23 & 24th. They had a great time making smores, hiking, playing baseball and having fun with friends. Caden loves camping and can't wait to go again!

(These are the few pic's Clint took. =) I guess I'm lucky he even remembered to take these!)

Spud Derby

Okay, so our friends, the Broadbents, from our ward are from Idaho and started a fun annual dinner and spud derby contest last year. Say what??? Yeah, that's what we said. We weren't here to experience it last year, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. We were to bring any type of potato that we wanted and they provided us with axles and wheels. The rest was pretty much up to us! Whatever people wanted to do was totally up to them...the only rule was that the spud had to fit on the "official pine wood derby" track. They had some pretty awesome prizes for the winners. Unfortunately we had to leave before the race was completed (due to having a newborn at home). It was such a blast! Clint had the brilliant idea to bring some of our Mr. Potato Head parts and incorporate them into ours. I think it turned out quite cute...even though it wasn't fast at all! We now know the tricks and maybe next year we'll win! Watch out y'all!

Clint working hard on our masterpiece!

Some of the other creative cars...

impressive huh? Who would have thought to make a mouse out of a yam?!

love the final touch (F+C)

Some of the guys took this quite seriously! I think they were reliving their pinewood derby days!

Yeah, that's ours in last place. =)

This is a final shot after the race. Note: I said after. Yeah, our first run Mr. Spud didn't even make it across the finish line! (Clint wants me to note that was just the first run. We did have another run and it did make it.)
