Easter Best

Because it was Conference weekend on Easter, the kids wore their Easter outfits to church today. I love the yellow and blue! Don't they look cute?!

I think Archer's trying to tell me something with his hand gestures. "Enough is enough Mom!"

Soccer Time

Caden started soccer this month and had his first game this morning. Their team is the Dragons and his coach is his friend Logan's Dad. Caden absolutely loves it! He has been excited for weeks to play and loves to practice outside with Daddy. He puts on his cleats and shin guards any chance he gets!

Here's a few recent pics of Archer. He is the sweetest and best baby! He's growing like a weed (big surprise). At 10 days old he already weighed 8 lb. 7 oz. which meant he was gaining 1 1/2ounces a day! By now he's probably over 9 lbs. I am trying to enjoy every moment because I know they don't stay little long!

Easter Weekend

On Saturday night we had fun dyeing eggs for Easter. Caden quickly dyed all of his by putting one egg in every color, whereas Lexi took quite a bit longer dyeing her eggs multiple colors. Once they were dyed they went ahead and decorated them with stickers and glitter. I forgot to get a pic of the final product! oops

(Yes, Lexi is sporting her Christmas PJ's)

On Easter Morning the Easter Bunny did visit our house and brought lots of candy filled eggs for the kids to find throughout the house.

This is a letter Lexi wrote to the Easter Bunny the night before and left it for him. I thought it was too cute!

Annual Egg Hunt

My inlaws throw a really fun Easter Egg Hunt for the grandkids each year. They do it in the backyard of Peggy's parents home. The kids love it! They have an acre of green grass to run around on and plenty of trees to climb.

As always, the Albright's had plenty of yummy food that we all enjoyed. We did it on Good Friday and the weather was perfect. Each of the kids got a really cute basket full of goodies and toys and also had a blast searching for eggs. Caden didn't want to stop and insisted on continuing to look for more even after he had found all his.

It's fun to have such wonderful inlaws that are making great lasting memories for my kids.

The AZ grandkids (minus Archer). He slept in the house the whole time!

what's inside those eggs?!
