Tropical Paradise!

Clint and I just returned from Nassau, Bahamas in celebration of our 5th anniversary! We had the most relaxing vacation. Just what I wanted. The white sand and aqua water were amazing. Nothing like either one of us had seen before. We stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort, which I highly recommend if anyone goes to the Bahamas. It is an all inclusive resort, so we could eat whenever we wanted and have as many "virgin" daiquiri's we could enjoy on the beach. They also had great night life. We watched a hypnotist show, which Clint really wanted me to volunteer for, but I was to worried about embarrassing myself. They also had a fun dance club one night and a piano bar. We also had the joy of snorkeling out on a reef which was really neat. Thanks to my parents we enjoyed a wonderful "kids free" vacation for 5 days. Here's a few of the many pictures we took.
Our first night at the resort!
Here I am by one of the many beautiful fountains at the resort. The food was all very good and the presentation was neat so we thought we'd take a picture.

This was at the Tepanyaki restaurant, Kimonos with Chef Tiny (so he says).

A picture of the resort. The architecture and grounds were so pretty.

Isn't the color of the water amazing? We thought it was beautiful. Nothing like we've seen before. The white sand beach was awesome. The sand was so soft and surprisingly had no shells at all.

Clint just had to get a shot of me singing along at the piano bar. He could play just about anything. Awesome!

Here we are snorkeling. It was amazing how many fish there were. Clint thought he saw a Barracuda, but I'm not so sure about that.

Here we are on our last night. Happy 5th anniversary babe!

So this is the name of a restaurant and we thought it was too funny to pass up. So here we are in front of the Poop Deck!

Easter Photo's

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the kids Easter photos. It was hard to just show a few. I love them all! Thanks to my friend Sonja for taking them. She did a great job. If any one is interested in having her take your photos her blog is http://personalityportraits.blogspot.com/ The kids did well at taking them for the most part. Well, until we put a chick costume on Caden which he did not like the least bit. Just had to do it for Easter though!

Fabulous Four!

Lexi's birthday was on Friday and we celebrated on Sat. with a Princess Party with some of Lexi's friends from church and her cousins. She was so excited and could not wait until her friends came over. The girls that wanted to came dressed in their princess attire. We had pizza, made tiara's, played Kiss the Frog (kind of like pin the tail on the donkey, but the girls put on lipstick and tried to kiss the frog on the lips), tried our best to break open a tiara pinata (which eventually I ripped open and shook the candy all over), and had cupcakes and ice cream. It was such a fun party! I think each girl had a really good time. It's hard to believe Lexi is four. How time flies! She's such a fun, loving girl, and I'm so glad she's part of our family. We love you Lexi! Happy 4th Birthday!

Cute Chick!

Lexi has been asking for about a week now to go see the Easter Bunny. Today I took her and she was so excited. Caden on the other hand wanted nothing to do with the bunny. I thought maybe if he sat by Lexi he would be okay, but I was wrong. As soon as I let go he screamed even louder. (Needless to say, we only have a picture with Caden out of control.) Lexi had drawn a picture she wanted to give to the Easter Bunny and the bunny had a hard time picking it up with her paw, so Lexi is now worried how the bunny will carry a basket and eggs to our house if she had a hard time holding her paper. So I told her not to worry about it, that the bunny has lots of helpers to carry things. Isn't it so cute how concerned they become? Also I kept referring to the bunny as "he". As soon as we got there Lexi was sure to let me know that I was wrong and it was a girl. I told her that the girl must be the wife. I didn't know I'd have to be so careful about the anything I say about the lovely Easter Bunny!
